Jeremy Diller has created a piece of wall art in the form of this tile. This Raku pottery piece is formed from raw clay and has a hook on the back for hanging. It is painted by hand, then fired in an outdoor kiln to 2,000 degrees. Red hot, it is plunged into a pit with mesquite shavings lighting a blaze. The flames engulfing this piece of art give it its unique flashes of color, making it one-of-a-kind. Only the strongest survive the trial by fire. Designed and signed by Jeremy Diller of Tecate, CA. Note: every piece of raku pottery varies slightly. The firing process, and the fact that each piece is hand-molded means each is one-of-a-kind!
