Well! Aren’t we all special. Mercury will be retrograde August 30 to September 22. It is not the way to start off a holiday weekend. Especially, with so many people out there traveling in vehicles with moving parts. The reason that I’m bringing this up this week or any time before Mercury Retrograde begins is so you can prepare. The one thing I have learned about retrograde is don’t take it so seriously. That means that you have to be centered and do a bunch of internal, “I’m alright. I’m going to walk away and not engage. This may all go away.”
That’s right…go away. Most of us know retrograde as a time when cars break down, computers go on the fritz and electronics do death defying stunts that you never thought possible (like jump out of your hands and get run over by a truck.)
The other side of mercury retrograde is that communications go crazy. This can lead to everyone being wacky. People aren’t on time. If they aren’t on time all that follows is slightly off. Some people get angry and take it on innocent bystanders…you get the idea. DO NOT ENGAGE! This is not about you. Do not get your panties in a twist or your boxers in a bind. Step back. Listen. Walk Away. This has served me time and time again.
During one mercury retrograde in my family, we had four cars that – Surprise- had to go in the shop at the same time. Thank goodness we all had friends who helped us get to where we needed to go. That is the last piece of the puzzle. Call a friend and tell them you are going to rant and rave, that you just need them as a sounding board for your crazy-ass-day! Lean on the people you love. If you don’t have them in your life, find them, or find out why they aren’t there.
