My favorite Hummus Recipe

I’ve had quite a few people ask me for this recipe. Many of my friends are Vegan so this is now my go to recipe for parties and events. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My Favorite Hummus Recipe

1 Can Garbanzo Beans (Reserve liquid from Beans)

¼ C. Tahini

Juice of 1 Lemon

I like to grate a little lemon rind into the mix. About ¼ – ½ tsp. (Totally Optional)

¼ C. Plain Yogurt (For Vegan Recipe I use Wildwood probiotic soyogurt Yogurt)

¼ Olive Oil

4 Mint Leaves (Totally Optional)

2 – 4 Garlic Cloves (Start with 2)

½ tsp. Salt.

½ tsp. citric Acid

Dump it all in the food processor and process until smooth. Taste! Add more reserved Garbanzo Bean liquid if necessary or spices to your taste.

Serve on a flat serving platter with a really good Olive Oil, Parsley and Paprika sprinkled on the top.

Serve with Pita chips, bread, crackers or vegetables
